FYI @nodeschool/oakland the next hack night will be this sunday. Make it if you are able to, but no worries if you can't make it.

@whatasunnyday we ask that people interested in attending come to an Oakland.js meetup first to meet someone from this group and talk about it in person to make sure skill level and expectations are in the right place, as we wanna make sure everyone has a good time. If you know someone in https://github.com/orgs/nodeschool/teams/oakland and they can vouch for you then you are welcome to join us. The hack nights we are doing aren't normal meetups, they're focused classroom settings w/ lectures that are targeted at learners in a specific skill range.

The link is broken (for me) but I probably don't know anyone there. I've met you a few times at Open Oakland but it was in passing. I would really love to attend Oakland.js but I have constraints on weekday nights. If I could speak to someone offline or online at a different time, let me know.

@whatasunnyday Ahh cool, I remember you now. I'll invite you to the team, come by this sunday to check out the hack night. I hope you are understanding of our need for a screening process, doing fully public events is tough.
