No clue about an official pack, but here's a link to some in StickerMule. You can't order 1 of each only, though.

Nope it never happened, mostly cause I never followed up. I was DM'ing @stickermule on twitter as my method for communicating previously. If someone else wants to take over, try DMing them and saying you want to pick up the conversation where I left off

ok will do, ill see what I can do

RichardLitt commented 8 years ago

I've sent an email to Stickermule asking them directly. I'm already interfacing with them for something else (I just ordered 1000 hex stickers for ipfs, so this wasn't out of my way. Will post updates here.

Currently we don’t have an option for that many stickers. The only other alternative I can think of is to purchase all of the stickers and package them on your end, although that quickly becomes cumbersome in my experience. There may be other companies willing to make the package itself once you have the stickers, but then the cost per piece may go up quite a bit when it’s all said and done. :(

So! I'm happy to do this, if there are enough people interested. I'd have to charge for it, though. For the current 36 stickers on Hexdex it would cost around $75 per package, assuming I get 10 people interested. That's... a lot?

I contacted hexi.pics, the Japanese company that specializes in hexagonal stickers. They said it would be around $75 for the 50~ stickers on hexb.in. That's a better deal, and it doesn't require me buying a ton and then sending them out. If anyone is interested, we could bundle together all of the Nodeschool stickers (not all JS-hexagon stickers) and maybe get that for cheaper.

hmmm - would be amazing to integrate international stickers into international day.

we need to get enrollment done!

@RichardLitt I would love to continue chatting here or via email: jdorfman @stickermule .com

@jdorfman Here works. What's possible? Can we get a sticker bundle?

jdorfman commented 7 years ago

@RichardLitt like a Sticker Sheet?

RichardLitt commented 7 years ago

Somewhat, yes, but ideally also cut. Looks like that is $40 more than hexi.pics offer.

@RichardLitt I'm not here as a sales person. I'm here as a Developer Relations person who knows that NodeSchool is very important to the Node.js community and would like to help out by giving you some free stickers to hand out at events. =)

:D Awesome. Sorry if I came off as a bit harsh, that wasn't clear to me. :)

I'm not sure that this thread would work well for that - we don't normally need to have a sticker for each event, it's just something fun. Per event help would be great; for instance, free stickers for the first event in a city. That would be a wonderful way to encourage people to get stickers, and you'd get repeat customers.

jdorfman commented 7 years ago

Hey @RichardLitt no apologies needed, it's all good!

Ok well the next event, shoot me an email (or someone in your org) and I will send some out.
