It'd be Awesome if we can get more exposure of our twitter Account http://twitter.com/nodeschool_sea and our chat @ https://gitter.im/nodeschool/seattle , Also if anyone has any tips about twitter I'd love to hear them!

Ask folks to follow, and to retweet as appropriate, or tweet to the account. Can start said following with those of us getting git notifications. ;-) Follow other Nodeschool Twitter accounts -- that should prompt a follow in return but if not, can tweet to them and ask for a follow. Follow other significant Node-related accounts. During events, use it for real-time updates, and tell folks it's being monitored so they can use it for questions (of the real-time sort, like "I'm at the door, can I still get in?"). In between events tweet about node news, or (better) suggest folks tweet to the account news they hear about. (Caution though -- don't get really chatty as that risks getting unfollowed.) A discreet "Follow us on Twitter" link can even go in emails.

And of course the gitter is linked in the README, just not the Twitter.
