'dump' stores files with invalid content #60

The 'dump' command creates files with invalid content for the inline data: a few bytes of gibberish, or "[,n,o,t, ,s,h,o,w,n,]".

This bug was introduced with 5e117af, during the development of version 1.8. Version 1.7 is not affected.
