AS part of milestone v1.3 the API was redesigned which added path api/v2. This path must be moved to path api with the existing and depreciated api removed from the filesystem

[ ] migrate urls for API v2 to path api
[ ] Update release notes specifying :red_square: Breaking change!!!!
