Objsearch V0.26.1 crashes Open CPN when upgading, cannot use plugin tab after crash #28

Describe the bug Open CPN crashes when upgrading OBJSearch using Open CPN plugin tool to V0.26.1

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to "OpenCPN 5.8.4:tools: Options: Plugins: Update Plugins (2024-06-05: OBJSearch: Upgrade to Version V0.26.1
  2. OBJSearch upgrade downloads and installs, then crashes Open CPN
  3. restart Open CPN, go to plugins, crashes again.
  4. fix: remove the actual plugin file from the file system using CLI,

Expected behavior Expected to download the update, install the update and then return to the update plugin screen

Desktop (please complete the following information if applicable):

Additional context - Hardware Pi 4 8 GB, Pican-M (does with or without the Pican-M installed), PiPower UPS, Bench power supply (3 varieties of powering the system were tried, same results on all, Open CPN crashes)

Is there anything related to the plugin written into the log before the crash? Do you happen to remember from which version you upgraded?

Didn't check the log, don't know which log to check. O list the plugin as -1.0.0, which implies no plugin is installed, only the framework to go get the updates.

I have an SD card with the build straight from Bareboats that I can install and replicate the problem, but don't' know where the log is

fresh install on different Pi4 nothing extra answered 2 Open CPN questions plugin catalog update updated Obsearch error: file.cpp:216 can't open file /home/user/.opencpn/mmsitoname.csv [error 2: no such file or directory]

It maybe unrelated to the plugin, may have been generated before the plugin was launched (didn't check) but I can repeat this over and over.

Not reproducible on Bookworm for me.

I don't have any ARM64 hardware to install this system on so it will have to wait for a couple of weeks before I am able to obtain some RPi.
