I've had some people on Matrix channels say "Help" or "Need help" or something like that. I've been linking them to this site because even though they're saying 'help' instead of 'hello', I feel like it creates a similar problem.

More variations:

And then there are more who split even simple sentences into a few words per message:

@ElonSatoshi @ParagDoke I had the same idea, so I made a website inspired by no hello that lets you make your own variation.Still work in progress, but here it is: https://goodpractice.info/

@AlfredoSequeida This is a good one. Thank you for sharing!

I'm wondering if you have moderators for your site. I came across one with a really strong opinion: https://www.goodpractice.info/dont-sleep-everyday

Without moderation, it is not long until pretty "creative" and/or "relevant only to some" stuff shows up there. But again, your intent is great and attempt is even better!

One idea is asking people to commit to a git repo for a github hosted site maybe, where PRs for the main branch can be reviewed. 'Coz without that, the practices are likely to snowball into anything ... even geopolitical opinions. Whereas I thought we wanted to address workplace digital conversations ... and leave alone most of the other stuff.

@ParagDoke Hey I think this is a great suggestion, I have thought the same myself. However, the reason I have not implemented moderation is because

Maybe in the future, I can add a downvote feature to bring attention to bad posts and later decide what to do with those posts.
