As a Data Browser user I want to know what Deprecated means, to use only updated and supported data in my app. #578

During the UI/UX testing it emerged the following comment:

Participants familiar with the "Deprecated"-concept grasped its significance, whereas those without technical knowledge faced difficulties in comprehension.

My proposal would be the following:

  1. Add an Info icon near the Deprecated term like in the screenshot below. When mouse is over the icon or user clisks on the icon a tool-tip with a short explanation of what Deprecated means. In the tool-tip there should be also a button that redirects to the section of Open Data Hub documentation dedicated to the Deprecation topic, that explains in detail what Deprecated means and what are the consequences. infoDeprecated
  2. Create a "Deprecated" page in the Open Data Hub documentation: https://github.com/noi-techpark/odh-docs/wiki/Data-Browser

The explanation of deprecated has been added to the documentation here: https://github.com/noi-techpark/odh-docs/wiki/What-does-%22deprecated%22-mean%3F

@cdercoli Thank you for the proposal. In general is fine for me. I would suggest to add a paragraph that indicates that the standard Open Data Hub policies foresees the shutdown or removal of a deprecated feature/tool/data after 18 months (my proposal that has to be discussed with the team @mrabans what do you think?) from the deprecation date.

@pkritzinger thank you for the link, can you please check if and where are the differences with the actual testing version?

@sseppi regarding deprecated, only the tooltip on the list of datasets is missing. image
