Me too and I'm a paid user help!
I can't believe people are still suckered into paying for this dead app. Get a real feed reader: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nononsenseapps.feeder.play&hl=en_US&gl=US
And it's free.
Get a real feed reader
I mentioned using Feedly. Feeder doesn't support any cloud readers. While I agree with the sentiment of moving away from proprietary services like Feedly to using FOSS, I really don't understand why these FOSS RSS readers don't support self-hosted readers for synchronising items across devices?
It's because of these issues I really am considering learning how to code for Android, but until then you are stuck with wishing for these issues to resolve.
Related issue on Feeder's Gitlab page, please feel free to create a PR to implement it @Haz3lnut ! https://gitlab.com/spacecowboy/Feeder/-/issues/52
I'm in the same situation. The functions that I use from Greader I can't find in another app. I use text to speach a lot, basically I only use it for that. other readers with this option have a db of more than gb because they convert to audio. but this limitation of only downloading 1000 limits me a lot. because there are sources that publish few feeds but they are not downloaded since it reached the limit of 1000 adding the other sources.
Still happening?
yes, unfortunately it kept happening
I've experimented with this - the problem is being caused by the option of "2-way sync Server Reads". It seems that greader loads all the unread feeds, then Feedly reduces it down to 1000. The workaround is to untick the option in greader (it's in the Synchronisation section) and then clear the cache and re-sync.
It is a paleative solution, but it is not good, since if I use feedly, what I read is not reflected and is read in feedy
I have selected "10,000 items" in Synchronisation > Item Limit and "All Unread" in Offline Reading > Item Limit.
Feedly says that I have 3000+ items to read. gReader cannot seem to sync or show items greater than 1,000 items.
