I am not so sure that this issue is closed, certainly not in my Linux development environment. Among other version issues, pip script is not being built with the current buildout.cfg. I already solved buildout.cfg issues for my environment. I found an new issue within django when used with buildout. I had fun troubleshooting it. I will document my findings and solutions soon.

commit 0a9652e corrects a few issues I found. They are documented in README.rst
