this is buggy, it's bad, the PR can remain for citation but will not be merged, it's not the path forward for this project

it's unfair to take credit, I'm not this smart (I mean obviously, if you look at other stuff I've done, or you've ever talked to me haha). I just recognized a good idea and wanted to share
if the true author wants to come forward I'm cool with that, it would be very unkind to release their identity if they are intimidated by their own work, I can take on the assumption people will have that I just made this up and made them up and they will be safe and that's kind of integral here right? the sanctity of life and safety?
the risk is people thinking I'm some kind of guru, and that also has bad consequences. It's a quandry
