problems building #40

Using git source.

The only thing built is writerapp. No reader, etc. And "make install" gives me "No rule to make target 'install'".

I don't know much about cmake, so I'm not sure what to do. I have cmake 3.9.1 and GCC 7.1.0, BTW.
