Major issue: turning on thumbnail pane cuts a portion of the image #1059

Hi

When I try to turn on the thumbnail feature under panels, the thumbnail cuts a portion of the image at the top. Ideally the image should accommodate itself so that it doesn't overflow into the thumbnail. How do I fix this, or should this be fixed by an update?

Note that it doesn't happen to all images. You can recreate it by viewing an image that has 1440x1440 px or I guess anything above 1000x1000 px

Hello @jackuars7, could you attach a screenshot of the issue that you observed? The thumbnails look normal to me.

@jackuars7 as a workaround you can move the strip to the left or right by right-clicking on it.

note, there is an undock option that would do this but it is mostly broken
