Stop pane auto-scroll while cursor over the File Explorer pane #131

When slideshow is palyed, there is auto-scroll of the File Explorer pane according to selection. Selection can keep go, but the is auto-scroll should pause while cursor over the File Explorer pane. This lets the user to skip to other image/folder. Another thing is the question what will happen when the user selects other folder in the pane for slideshow:

  1. The playlist settings (Open Directory Ctrl+Shift+O) is being changed.
  2. The same playlist, but it skips within the playlist. I'd prefer 2.

thanks for your feedback. stopping the slideshow on hover might be disturbing for other users. I guess pressing space when changing images/folders should also do the trick.

I think you didn't get me well:

  1. It's not about stopping the slideshow. slideshow is keeps go. The problem is with the vertical scorll bar. the auto scroll bar that scorlls down.
  2. Suppose you selected 3 folders to be opened, and want to view as slideshow: Cars Flowers Animals

When the slideshow is played, and you want to skip from one folder to the other, you will want to navigate to the desireds folder you want to skip and click on it. Not for select new base for slideshow, but for skip to that folder in the same slideshow being run.

hmmm I do understand the issue - still: what is the problem with pausing the slideshow while changing the folder? (you just need to hit space) I like now, that you can see which file is being viewed (which would be lost in that case)

  1. It will work. But the user expect to better. Also need to mention Space doesn't work with Explorer Pane focused.
  2. You need to find solution, how to let the user skip/jump to folders/images by explorer while slideshow is running. Currently clicking on a subfolder redefines the playlist of the slideshow to that subfolder.
