EXR Support wanted #551

Are the developers interested in supporting any 32 bit formats? This would be quite handy for professionals working in photography and 3D

I haven't tried, but there is OpenEXR plug-in available in KImageFormats. nomacs is generally known to work with those Qt plug-ins. The plug-in has read-only support unfortunately yet.

the problem is, that our rendering pipeline does not support more than 8-bits per channel...
