Documentation webserver: URL redirect/rewrite loop? #96

On 2023-12-07, I had bookmarked a few pages of the Nomad documentation, e. g.:

https://nomad-lab.eu/prod/v1/staging/docs/oasis/install.html

I unfortunately cannot reconstruct how I initially came upon these URLs, but it was not difficult to find, and it successfully led me into installation of a Nomad Oasis.

Today, however, that exact page just displays the title page of the project documentation, spammed with full-screen icons, and a broken stylesheet.

Screenshot ![image](https://github.com/nomad-coe/nomad/assets/104503101/7e3a2c52-8a7f-471a-a531-0c4fd8636490)

Repeatedly selecting the "installation" chapter in the menu there, brings me to the URLs:

The (properly formatted and navigable) manual can be accessed by inserting a howto/ in front of the first oasis in the original URL:

https://nomad-lab.eu/prod/v1/staging/docs/howto/oasis/install.html

(This is also the way how it is linked from the website.)

It seems like something has gotten hiccups on the web server that hosts and/or redirects the documentation web pages. It is not difficult for me to update my bookmarks, but I want to let you know anyway.

Hi @Meax5qiu, thanks for your report. Typically, the path https://nomad-lab.eu/prod/v1/staging/docs/ leads to the docs of the latest deployment of our beta version. Around one month ago, we merged a major refactor of our documentation, which might have caused the discrepancies in the links you posted. We apologize for that.

I believe that from the latest link in your post, everything should be reachable without any problem. Thanks for letting us know. And please, do not hesitate to reach out if you need any clarification or any help, either here or in the forum.
