This project has made the terrible mistake to build on top of something that runs on a dangerous VIRTUAL MACHINE. These days, VIRTUAL MACHINEs are a form of dangerous demon worship that prays to the sin of GARBAGE COLLECTION and NON-REFERENTIAL TRANSPARENCY. Why on earth would you want to use rust? If it's been sitting for so long that it's become rusted, then clearly no one uses it.
