LMMS can't use external midi controllers with NomadBSD #9

This appears to be an upstream issue, but I am adding it here to inform should the issue, should it come up with another user. I am experiencing the same problem. It is a shame that there doesn't appear to be support for native OSS, particularly as LMMS is one of the easiest go to DAWs available: Cannot use external midi controllers under FreeBSD #6263

We just upgraded our Linux CI to Ubuntu 20.04 in https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/pull/7015, so it might be worth checking if this issue still exists in nightly.

Also, Sndio is now available as a midi/audio interface in nightly.
