Revised version of serialcom.pde that gains back stack and program space #57

Attached is a completely revised version of serialcom.pde, this version 
recovers approx 2K of program space and resolves an issue with readFloatSerial, 
where the string passed to atof needed to be null terminated.

Deepest thanks for sharing this!  I fixed some minor compile issues, but saves 
quite a bit of space.
