Thanks hubdot. I was never sure what to do with this as you end up with the navbar menu, sidebar menu and a ton menu!, but I agree with you, it needs to change.
Currently on a non-mobile view, the TOC is collapsed with only the hamburger icon being shown. I don't think this is a good approach on mobile and think instead it would just collapse with the arrow showing the state and the words "Table of Contents" still shown. What are your thoughts on the following mockup of the TOC collapsed?
Hey nomad,
that looks absolutely perfect to me 👍 It communicates the feature very clearly to the user while staying on point and short, without disrupting the content.
Best regards and thanks for your awesome work on this theme :)
This change has now been committed to the codebase and will be available in the next release within the next day or 2
Hey nomad,
another request :) In responsive design for mobile the TOC still get's drawn next to the content. The results is maybe a little too condensed. My suggestion would be to have the TOC in full width for those smaller sized versions.
An example mockup here: https://i.imgur.com/gmulIbF.png On the left is the current design. On the right is a suggestion.
Best regards
