useLESS not working after update to "Kaos"

After updating to Kaos none of my colors from the 'Template Style Settings' are present in my site and I'm getting the following error :

useLESS is enabled on the Mikio template, however is not supported on this server

I'm pretty new to Dokuwiki and was installing my first instance of it, so perhaps it's an error in my install, but everything was working fine before the update. Here's the sequence of events that lead to it:

-I installed dokuwiki to a subdomain using my webhost's cpanel and it installed 2023-04-04 "Jack Jackrum" -I installed the Mikio theme and plugin using the Extension Manager -I updated all of my site's colors using the Template Style Settings, everything looked great on my site -I got a notification that 2024-02-06 "Kaos" was available -I installed the DokuWiki Upgrade Plugin using the Extension Manager -I ran the Wiki Upgrade plugin and got an error saying PHP 7.4 was required -I went to my hosts cpanel and used the 'Select PHP Version' page to switch to 7.4 (I believe it was on 7.2 previously) -I ran the Wiki Upgrade plugin and this time it was successful -When I went back to the admin page that was when I got the above error message and none of my color stylings were present either in the admin or the live site despite the values still be saved in the Template Style Settings -I saw the bit in the Configuration Settings about PHP ctype extensions being required and I went back to my hosts cpanel 'Select PHP Version' and I see that the ctype box is checked, so I'm assuming it is installed

Any ideas?

Dokuwiki Kaos changed the LESS engine and Mikio needed to be updated to support this change.

This has been done in release 2024-02-09
