Problem with Samsung plex application

I can watch a game in my plex server and with PS4 but when i try with samsung tv i have this message: Unable to connect to the content server. I need help. Thank you.

I have a samsung tv från 2013 and getting the same problem.

However, I can watch other plugins stream and movies from macmini mid 2012 via PSM to my samsung tv. I have updated macmini iOS, PSM, Lazyman plugin and TV + plex app on samsung tv to the latest.

Do you have link to the WIKI you talked about? But, maybe my device is not the issue since other plugins and movies works perfectly. So I belive my conserns is the layer between the plugin and samsungs plex app, in some way :)

Today i noticed that recap (those small 5-8 min long clips) worked - but not a full match ie getting same problem as before.

I have an LG tv with WebOS and a Plex plug in. Lazy man works when the settings on the Plex tv module are set so ‘direct play’ is toggled off. Try looking for that option on your Samsung module.

Dude, it worked! In plex app on samsung tv i changed setting from auto to transcoding. I have four option auto, direct play, direct streaming and transcoding. I think direct streaming will work too, i’ll check on that later!

Further note: it has been my experience that other plex client apps - iPhone, iPad, etc also are unable to transcode a direct stream locally in the app. The ‘direct play’ option in those apps should be located and disabled. This may be via a config file depending on the app (iOS apps expose this as a UI setting). However these streams are constructed (encryption?), the Lazyman plex server plugin can transcode, but clients do not have the capability. Another way to force the plex server/Lazyman to transcode, is to use the web access method via a client browser.
