Polyphony #6

What's the plan for polyphony? Will the frequency socket take a list of frequencies and volumes, or something. I bet it would be useful to be able decompose the socket content to get Hz and previously passed amplitudes. Do you have design docs about this?

I sent this from the github mobile app. Looks like it created the issue twice
