Import bookmarks dialog not visible on PRS-T1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open bookmarks list and select import bookmarks
2. Select a xml file (previously exported)
3. The dialog box "Choose source book" shows up but the text is black on a 
black background on a rooted PRS-T1 (rupor package).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Black text on white background.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.42.1 on Sony Reader PRS-T1

Is it still reproduce with 0.49.x version?

Yes, the problem is still present.

Furthermore, with the dark theme the menus are light grey on dark grey, 
barely visible. But if I select the light theme, the menus show properly 
but not the import bookmarks dialog is still the same (black text on 
black background).

Try 0.50.0, there is new ui lib
