Unable to download Models

Reproduction

Steps to reproduce behavior:

1. Open GPT4All (v2.4.12)
2. Click the Hamburger menu (Top Left)
3. Click on the Downloads Button

Expected behavior

This should show all the downloaded models, as well as any models that you can download. Currently, it does not show any models, and what it does show is a link. On searching the link, it returns a 404 not found. Please find attached screenshots.

Works here. And it's actually just a redirect to: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nomic-ai/gpt4all/main/gpt4all-chat/metadata/models.json

It might've been a temporary problem, so try again. But if it isn't then I'd say it's on your end.

Edit: I just noticed you didn't copy the link right. You entered .../model/models.json instead of .../models/models.json.

Edit 2: If the problem persists: Turns out there's a recent commit which might make this more robust: 98dd2ab4bc950dc9b87c227cbd9fc07de608ebfe. So maybe try again with the next release.

I don't really understand the question. Have you downloaded a model through the website?

Ah, I should mention it here: you can also download a model through the website if necessary. https://gpt4all.io scroll to 'Model Explorer'.

Tried with v2.4.13, everything seems to work properly. I was able to see and download models.

I'm getting this as well

Can't download any models. Running 20.04 ubuntu.

"[Warning] (Sat Oct 28 18:21:36 2023): ERROR: track response != 200 code: 0"

Is all I can see for errors in output.
