Installer component selection is not displayed #2718

Bug Report

Steps to Reproduce

1.Install from Download foe Wondows 2.Launch the installer(gpt4all-installer-win64.exe) 3.Components do not appear on the component selection screen 4.I can't select a component so I can't proceed

Your Environment

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro
System language: Japanese There was no change when I changed the System Language to English.

I'm assuming this was from the https://gpt4all.io/ website, which downloads the files for the latest version available.

Can you also try a fixed version from the GitHub Releases page?

Thanks for the idea. Download the installer from the GitHub Releases page and complete the installation.

Btw, this happens when the installer can't access gpt4all.io, usually a problem caused by the ISP. Sometimes changing your DNS to e.g. Google DNS can fix it. Often there are no official models listed in the application as well (no models.json). Not much we can do on our side.
