For a code developer, the interface and capabilities are not at all convenient. It is not possible to upload a file with code for commenting or working with a piece of code. So you will still have to use the online gpt chat. The local one is far from the capabilities that GPT4 or GitHub Copilot chats provide.

See image above, did you add the file extension to the list of extensions? You should be able to upload the file for commenting if its extension is in the list.
