1 year ago Post Note - I've come to realize the music distance is tied with the server's/client's render distance. Most servers have a render distance of 8 or which is around 128 blocks of distance. I typically install mods that increase the render distance for clients by saving chunks and displaying them, etc..

There should be a feature for the music to be heard globally across the entire dimension of the witherstorm. As of right now, if you leave the witherstorm's bossbar range, the music stops playing. Of course if you go in another dimension like the nether, the music shouldn't play there.
If that doesn't suit your tastes, add a config option to allow us to change how far the music plays from the witherstorm. The current distance right now is quite small actually, not even 200 blocks.
