The question is, should the Audio-Engine Service be restarted continuously till it successfully finds the MIDI and Audio devices as long as the ePC is ON? probably ...

Wouldn't it be cleaner if the audio-engine handles these error-scenarios without crashing?

But seeing the crash-scenario as a whole I would suggest a restart on-failure configuration, like we have it in the playground and bbbb services. See...
