What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Let the "Prevent the Bookmarks button from being moved to the Bookmarks
toolbar" option be checked.
2. Open the Bookmarks Toolbar (with hotkey or through the Bookmarks button
menu).
3. Click on the Bookmarks button (still sitting on the navigation toolbar, as
expected).
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A fully functional Bookmarks button is expected. The button menu is shown with
valid information (for example the View Bookmarks Toolbar entry is checked),
but once the mouse is moved the button menu disappears.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Hide BookmarksBar 3.3, Firefox 20.0.1, Windows 8
Please provide any additional information below.
- It is possible to enter the menu with the arrow keys.
- The button menu disappears when the mouse pointer is moved out from the
button area.
- When the Bookmarks Toolbar is toggled there is a frame drawn around the
Bookmarks button for a short period of time.
- When the Bookmarks Toolbar is enabled there is no shadowed frame drawn around
the Bookmarks button upon hovering with mouse pointer unlike Downloads and
Start Page buttons.
