misleading info in JP2 box lead to wrong number of components #110

The decoding of jpxstream.data : as indicated by Winfried, 1.3 and 1.4 give 
different results (respectively 1 and 3 components). In this case, 1.3 is 
right, the info in the jp2 boxes is misleading 1.4 (and was not taken into 
account in 1.3, which explains the regression. Kakadu gives also only one 
component.

This must have been fixed in 1.5. So I would be tempted to simply closing this 
issue.

I must say I do not understand how kakadu decide not to apply PCLR. Does it 
check for the invalid value of PREC (I.5.3.3) ?

opj_jp2_apply_pclr is properly applied on file9.jp2 as should.

antonin, I believe applying PCRL is correct. I have been using file9.jp2 
(conformance) and kakadu seems to have a similar behavior : if output target is 
single channel (eg. pgm) then a single channel is extracted, if output target 
is three channel then PCLR is applied (eg. ppm).

Could you please refine why you think behavior in 1.3 was correct ?
