I've gone through expresses docs on this although a bit outdated there are some useful stuff. Here are some easy things we can add to improve our app.

[ ] Helmet
[ ] Snyk
[ ] forever
[ ] gzip compression
[ ] catch exceptions while allowing for sentry logging
