Package was working beautifully when I last tried, but now does not respond to
the usual editing keys. Possible to type hiragana but not to convert or
backspace/delete. Closer inspection shows that all the key bindings are set to
empty. Restoring one or two of the key settings confirms that this is the
problem. How to restore the default key bindings as they were?
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Don't know how the problem arose. Nothing changed explicitly by user.
2.
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to be able to edit katakana entered in romaji and convert it into kanji
using the customary candidate list. What I do see is hiragana being generated
by no ability to edit it, convert it or enter it. The action keys are not
being read because the bindings have been 'empty'd.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
4.2.8.3 on up to date Arch Linux.
