Not sure, can you explain a bit more your problem?
Sorry for the bad explanation. I am using this OS with an external monitor and mouse and keyboard, however the mouse and keyboard don't get powered at all. They work with any other OS I just don't know why they won't work with this one.
Thanks, Max

This is strange indeed. I tested it before the release and it seemed to work. I used a basic usb keyboard and mouse. I can verify it tomorrow again.
Which RaspberryPi version have you? And which release of PieJam OS have you installed?
I have a Rasbery pi 4B and I am running v0.9.0.

Ok, i will verify it with 4B tomorrow and will get back to you.
Just tried it out on 4B, it seems to work for me.
Are you connecting keyboard/mouse directly to the Raspi or through some USB hub? What kind of devices are those USB2 or USB3? Can you name the models of those devices or are those just noname ones?
The Mouse is plugged directly into the Pi and I have tried a USB2 Microsoft mouse, and Wireless Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard and my USB3 Corsair Gaming Mouse and Keyboard none of them worked.
I don't know what's wrong From: Dimitrij Kotrev @.> Sent: Tuesday, August 27, 2024 6:04 PM To: nooploop/piejam @.> Cc: MonsterSurface @.>; Author @.> Subject: Re: [nooploop/piejam] Mouse and Keyboard not doing anything? (Issue #11)

If you install vanilla Raspberry Pi OS, do your devices work there?
Yes they all work in Raspberry Pi OS
Under the regular Raspberry Pi OS, on the terminal can you please execute: cat /proc/cpuinfo
What is reported under "Model" entry?
Under the model Entry it says: Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.2
Ok and how much memory does it have?
It has 4GB of Memory
Hm, the only difference i see at the moment, is that i have a Rev 1.4 version and i'm not using HDMI. I don't know at the moment what can cause the problem. I try to get my hands on a Rev 1.2 version of Raspberry Pi.
Did you used the 32bit or 64bit version of RaspberryPi OS?
I used the 64-bit version

I have tried the 32-bit version and mouse and keyboard worked
Hm, i'm out of ideas at the moment. I need to get my hands on another raspi4 with Rev 1.2 and try that.
Hi, i have now a Raspi4 with which i can reproduce the issue. I will now try to figure out what's wrong.
I have published a new release (0.9.1) which should solve the problem.
Ok Thanks I will try that tomorrow
I have tried it now and it works Thanks so much
I have installed this OS the my pi it is powered by the official plug but it just doesn't do anything. The main mixer menu comes up on the screen.
Please could you help me?
