How does the Longevity World Cup differ from Rejuvenation Olympics? Or Xprize Healthspan?
The Longevity World Cup is similar to the Rejuvenation Olympics, but the rules are different:
Objective. LWC's main goal is to yield the athletes with the largest age reversal. This is in contrast to the current Rejuvenation Olympics ruleset, where the most youthful state is sought (pace of aging.) This will result in chronologically older athletes on the LWC.
Biological Aging Clocks. In 2025 LWC uses PhenoAge, while RO uses DunedinPACE.
Seasonality. Every year a new Longevity World Cup is started with a different biological clock as its target. For example the main objective of LWC2026 could be OMICm Age and LWC2027 might go with Horvath clock.
