Forked this awhile back to write an installer and provide a little more flexibility. Feel free to take a look and take or leave it as you wish.

All those changes seem very specific to your need and environments. I won't merge them here. If you feel like sharing only curtains ruby script enhancement, feel free to open a new PR.
