A new port project for Geany should be started, requested by @gkatev in https://github.com/arcticicestudio/nord/issues/18#issuecomment-325366636. It is a quite popular IDE build with GTK+ with lightweight and fast goals in mind.

The project wiki contains information about the creation of color schemes.

There are also offered ready-made themes based on the Base16, alternatively you can take a ready-made theme and alter it to Nord

FWIW I ran into the same issue and found this one created by a fellow GitHub user;

I just made an homemade version of the Nord theme, feel free to use it until an official support is added :)
