I'd like to give a lightning talk titled This Is My Boomstick, which will be about the Raspberry Pi-powered arcade controller I'm building.
A bit similar to Blaine, but I'd like to do a talk on the door buzzer I built using an Amazon Dash button and Node. Should be a pretty fun talk.
I've been considering doing a talk on choosing a topic for a talk.
@WyerByter Can you fit that into 15 minutes?
I haven't started on the talk, but I think I can do a 10-15 min talk.
@lynnaloo, there's a minor typo in the name of my talk in the top comment. Broomstick
should be Boomstick
. My talk isn't about janitorial equipment š.
@wbprice fixed. Although I think you should reconsider .. that might be more interesting ..
@WyerByter I'm adding you to the schedule!
@lynnaloo is that @guillermoandrae ?
You know any other Guillermo Fisher(s)? š
hey speakers!
I sent you all individually a messsage on @757devio slack but here also for good measure
Send me a short description and bio whenever you get a chance so I can add it to the meetup group so we can promote your excellent and awesome talks!
It doesn't have to be complicated. Example I sent
Example: Stanley Zheng is a software engineer who helps organize @norfolkjs and @code4hr and will tell you all the good food spots in HRVA.
Talk title:
Python 3: the good parts. loremipsum some title about info about new things in python. Look at this `1_000_000 == 1000000.` -> `True!` wow amazing!
cc:
@cupofjoey @wbprice @guillermoandrae @WyerByter g a Talk @vanguardvivian --6thperson!
I actually just changed my username to @Vixxiest! :)

Iām putting together the description for the upcoming Norfolk.js meetup.
Could you send me a 1-2 sentence bio and a bite size 2-3 sentence abstract for your talk.
Example: Stanley Zheng is a software engineer who helps organize @norfolkjs and @code4hr and will tell you all the good food spots in HRVA.

I'm here! Had to unburry my account. Last name is Schuchman, btw.
@WyerByter FWIW, I liked the idea you had to do a talk on choosing a talk.
@lynnaloo that is what the talk is about. Title and abstract are jokes around that.
