I put it there as another "home" button. Sometimes when I was really tired I would forget how to get to the home page in navigation and I figured there would be some other tired dev who wanted the nav link too.

i'm guessing only a few are shown? then after they pass they're gone? how about using events as an archive page?
yeah I think that's a good solution. Home page is upcoming events for two months and events is all
+1 agreed with that idea, we also should probably provide links and archives to past events outside of 'blog' and reserve blog for guest bloggers or people interested in writing about something in JS.
I like the style of RVA.js, where I can find all the past events and what went down.
