Thank you for trying to provide help, guys like you are the ones that make me feel so confident! I am preparing such a roadmap and system, but I need to make sure to find an easy - and not too intensive - way, or should I stay "strategy", to keep the hundreds of ideas I have clear, concise, explicit, connected to the main website...
So Trello is definitely a plan I have in mind (I am messing with it), but I feel like the best system would be to stick to github milestones / projects, as I will then be able to easily manage those from one unique interface and integrate the "release" system also.
I am eperimenting with project management and community here, so I don't want to setup too many fancy systems that would keep the fun away either ;)
But my thoughts are not fixed at all, so if you want to discuss it further, I'd gladly listen to your ideas!
Thanks!
I think I'm getting there...
For the day-to-day code and issues, I'll definitely stick to milestones as they allow me to keep my issues well ordered in Github, and can inform anyone about what I plan to work on (am working in) in the next days / weeks.
I think I'll also use the "built-in" projects from github. I don't know exactly how they work, but they seem very similar to Trello, which should allow me to create Roadmaps, idea boards...
I won't close this issue until I set this up though ;)
Back to BakeMyScan! I'll soon publish the release, and I'll indeed manage my projects through this page for now, and keep the "day to day" issues on the issues page... I'm not sure how others will collaborate, but I'll find a way later :slightly_smiling_face:
Hey, id like to help at least as much as I can and I think having a Trello or some kind of board users can look at to see what your working on would help anyone that wants to contribute.
