Persistent Qalc scratch pad in the bottom panel #24

Sometimes I just don't want to find in a tons of tabs to find my previous used qalc file, so I think it's convinient to find qalc in the bottom panel. Is that possible?

Qalc can operate on many files. I guess what you are suggesting here is to have a permanent Qalc "file" in the bottom panel? That is a cool idea for folks that just want to use it as a quick scratch pad and have no intention of saving the file.

The way I get around this is I just quickly make a new file (Ctrl + N), do whatever calculations I need to, and then close it. Hopefully that works for you in the mean time. I'll leave this issue open as a feature request and reminder that it would be nice to add some day.
