Hello friend. Man, this is without a doubt one of the best mods I've ever seen. It's really cool, but it's a shame it's got some bugs. I really hope it gets updated as soon as possible, I know it's hard to balance with day-to-day tasks, but please don't let this mod die. It has nearly half a million downloads on CurseForge. It's a brilliant mod. Congratulations. Even though I can't use it, from the little I tested, I already found it fantastic.

I have been working on fixing the issues, though I also have a weekly schedule for my YouTube channels so I don't have as much time to work on it. And then after I am often burnt out and not motivated to work on it but when I do I do fix issues. Though the amount of stuff that still needs to be done is a bit overwhelming I have not given up on the mod. I am also debating if I should just port this to NeoForge after the update. For the forge version rest assured that the mod is still getting work down when I do feel motivated and I have already fixed the drones and several other issues I found while testing. The recipes are taking the most time and I also have been migrating some of the blocks to blockstates which is my most recent work on the mod. So don't worry about it not getting updates I do plan on publishing the update once it's ready but I do not know the release date when this could be.

How great to know that the idea is still alive, even if it's struggling! But would it be very difficult to create a lite version with just the drones? Actually, I was looking for a mod that had a drone, where I could control it into a large cave and check what could be found, and maybe find a path to later descend and explore personally. That would be really cool, especially for those who play only in hardcore mode like me and can't risk their necks for nothing. But there's simply no mod with drones, and this mod is the most perfect one out there, with a very good mechanic, rechargeable battery in the drone, various abilities, night vision, simply perfect. But imagine my sadness when I discovered it wasn't working properly!!!! :/ If you could at least make a lite version available, since the drone bug has been fixed, that would be really cool. But if not, no worries, I hope that one day I can see this happen. Anyway, congratulations on the mod once again.
It would take a lot of work to separate the drones because I am not sure where things connect to, some mechanics may also be used for other viewing devices such as camera blocks so I would need to take a lot of time following files so I knew what I could delete and what needs to stay which would take away time from working on the mod. The MCreator workspace is pretty messy which has been taking the most time to navigate through.
However, it will be patched first on 1.19.4 and 1.20.1 and then I get to do a quick test on a newer version of MCreator to make sure things still work and can be before porting the mod to newer versions. But, there is not much for it, I work on it when I can and I rather release a stable build with all the features and some minor QOL improvements than do a quick job fixing only some issues that are reported and have others missed.
Ah, I understand! It makes sense, unnecessary work would waste time on the mod itself. But that's alright, I know it will be worth the wait. Thank you very much for your attention and have a great time working. I'm excited to see this mod in action. :D
