parse the command output even on cancel ? #549

I'm definitely sure this would help me, but I'm not sure what would be the effect on other builds ... so I'm asking here (I can try to implement it if I get some interest).

I'm doing very long builds, which may have errors/warnings. Sometimes I have to cancel the build because I for instance noticed that some other change was needed. Right now, when I do this, I'm losing any error/warning that already appeared.

I'm not sure if it is the intended behavior or not ...
