Third Party post processing #241

This is more of a question than an issue.

I use filebot to do all my post processing. It seems watcher doesnt automatically scan the library periodically to see if the snatched movie was downloaded.

I dont need watcher to do any renaming or moving of files, it just needs to scan the folder to see if the movie is there now.

You can enable a directory scan, but in my experience, it will process everything in it, finished or not.

nosmokingbandit commented 6 years ago

You can simply disable all post-processing options and enable scheduled scanning of your directory. As @ben-joostens said, this will scan all files in the directory (or just all new files if you have that enabled) even if they are still downloading, so it is suggested that you have your download application move completed downloads to this directory instead of downloading directly to it.

Yea all completed downloads are moved, it seems like that directory scanner is not finding the movies though, they are still showing as snatched.

These are the settings I have set on watcher

I have a couple movies that are still listed as Snatched, they where downloaded weeks ago and have been properly processed and are available in plex. So i dont think this scanner thing is working

I'll need a copy of your log file to see what is actually going on. Enable debug logging, restart, then let it run for at least half an hour so I have a few scans in the logs to read. Then email the log to watchernzb@gmail.com
