1 year ago you can do that site, host it somewhere then it may be listed on the already existing directories with such sites. nostr is a protocol so it doesn't have any controlled official site and should remain that way. everyone can have it's own nostr websites and the good ones will be referenced by others. you can start building your own today, you don't need permission from anyone.

1 year ago A bunch of people have bought multiple domains nostr.<something>. I don't have any. Most are parked and doing nothing useful.
If you do a website like that I believe there will be some of these people that will want to host your website on their nostr.<something> domain and that could be a very good thing.

1 year ago Thank you @eskema & @fiatjaf. I was reading your comments late at night, thinking of possibilities. A lot has happened in these past 4 days that remind me why technology like nostr is empowering. It is not just code that gets built and shipped, it is the principles and spirit behind it.
Not long after reading your comments, talk about nostrica began. Somehow your words reinforced the feeling that we do not need permission to be creative. We just need to buidl. I'm sorry I'm late in replying. I've spent the past few days building https://nostrica.com, enjoying the freedom of building openly.
Now I am looking back at this original website idea and putting thoughts unto paper to start building it too. Thank you again.

Hello everyone.
Nostr is a simple protocol that continues to open doors to creative expression through its growing universe of clients. Developers and designers are building in the open everyday. Small milestones are becoming leaps, when we look at the entire nostr ecosystem.
Nostr should have a website that reflects nostr's openness and welcomes both newbies and nostr contributors.
Newbies should have a welcoming place to learn how to use nostr, why it matters, and to discover clients.
Developers and designers should have a space to read docs and find ways of reaching out to others in the community to contribute to the nostr ecosystem.
I believe in nostr's censorship resistance and decentralization. I'd like to contribute to bringing a website to reality.
Repository & Domain
@fiatjaf Could there be a website repository within nostr-protocol's GitHub?
What about a domain? Does the community have any yet? Regardless of what domain is used or who contributes it, I'd hope that what is chosen remains an integral part of nostr in perpetuity. There may not be "public domains" when it comes to websites, but nostr's domain should be part of a larger picture, representing the community and its values.
