If Bitcoin is Freedom Money, Nostr is the social layer for Freedom of Speech.
I believe every Bitcoin event needs to have a dedicated Nostr presence, and I’d like to discuss my concept at Nostriga:
Why is this so important? Earlier this year, I helped set up the first-ever Nostr booth at BTC Prague with Svetski, Miljan Derek Ross and Avi Burra. We were the key hub for the “Bitcoin social layer.”
Despite not being the largest booth, we were undoubtedly the busiest. The atmosphere was electric, with people from all over the world coming together to share, learn, laugh, and connect. Our booth was a vibrant hub where individuals working on diverse projects and products aimed at spreading freedom around the world came to be part of the conversation in real life.
The Nostr traveling booth will be much more than a typical conference booth; I want to make it a place where people can actually connect physically. Before I went to Prague, I had never heard of Nostr, but the sense of community and connection I experienced at the booth was transformative. I want to share that feeling with as many people as possible.
The talk I want to give will basically cover this idea, and I’d love to get feedback from actual Nostr people with respect to what they want to see this booth initiative become!
What would an attendee learn from this talk?
The groundbreaking ideas behind Nostr, are unfortunately still largely unknown.
That’s where I come in. As an experienced event manager with over a many years of expertise in the trade show and event industry, I know how to share novel ideas with general audiences in a way they can truly appreciate.
I’m going to launch a global tour with a “Travelling Booth” that brings Nostr to events everywhere, starting in latam later this year. The goal is not to just raise awareness, but to actually get people onboarded to Nostr.
In my talk I’ll explain how I can turn Nostr's marketing from an afterthought into a powerful, movement-driving force.

My name is Tanja Bächle and I’ve been an events manager for many years. I’ve mainly helped set up booths and large end conferences, but these days I’m also helping Adidas put on running events across the DACH region. I am also leading up a “Women inBitcoin” chapter in Berlin, along with helping expand the TwentyOne world community in the DACh region.
Bilingual in German and English, I bring a global perspective to my work, having also lived in London for many years before returning to my hometown, Berlin.
