This seems to be related to an issue already fixed for raspi...

I'm using retroArch 1.3.6 (newer ones broke multi disk support) and core 1.91 cbc93b6

please ignore this i downloaded the latest core (which i had to download manually due to the old version of retro arch) and it worked fined...
