No game theme #3

There's currently no theme in mind to drive the game design. So far, everything's been kept generic in terms of naming and representation. Once I decide upon a theme, I can make the graphics look better, be more descriptive in the project names/code, and be more creative in designing new elements in the game.

The current tentative theme that I'm leaning towards is along the lines of a space-based "defend the planet against aliens" game -- kind of like a more modern take on "Space Invaders." I like the idea of implementing 2D gravity and collisions mechanics into this type of game, but don't know how well it will hold up in terms of an online tower defense game

Alternately, a fantasy theme is always fun -- defend the castle against a horde of fairies and dragons using magic and midieval fortifications.

I was also considering a cyberpunky cyber-security kind of theme that can tie into the "node" theme and be somewhat relevant.

Also, I was considering borrowing ideas for another educational type game that had in mind a while ago where you play a cell that gathers organically relevant resources and experience points to evolve various biological mechanisms : e.g. photosynthesis, chemotaxis, mitosis. These ideas could be expanded upon where more emphasis is put upon building an immune system to defend against pathogens
