What is the business model for notebooks-ai? #29

It sounds great that notebooks-ai will always be free, but obviously someone is paying, right?

I'm thinking it might give users more confidence to try it out if they knew what the business model is.

Or perhaps some wealthy benefactor has just agreed to pay for everything? 😺

Hey Rich! Thanks for your feedback. Yes, you're right. Notebooks was created to support an educational use. Students usually have very low demand of resources and in between we were working out with some schools for a paid layer.

We'll open up the paid plans (for businesses, schools or users with high hardware demands) soon. For the rest of users (low resource consumption) it'll be free.

Can I ask you about your usage and how you found us? We're trying to collect as much feedback as possible, so yours is highly appreciated. Thanks again!

Hey guys! Thanks for the great product. Any movement for a paid solution to upgrade RAM? We periodically need a little over 1 GB of RAM (no more than 2 right now) for an application we are developing.

...also I invited another user and have not seen a change in storage
