Allow mass-editing of file associations #8129

Description of the Issue

User is unable to edit file associations en masse.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

  1. Start Notepad++ with elevated privileges
  2. Attempt to change file associations on 30+ extensions
  3. Start thinking about your life choices

Expected Behavior

Have either checkboxes or, at least, "associate all" button.

Can you explain "Have either checkboxes"?

Mocked up screenshot would be best, but I realize that would cut into your time where you are "thinking about your life choices". :-)

Upon further reflection, perhaps the quickest and most logical solution would be to enable Shift in the "Supported extensions" section? Here is the mock-up:
